A FUN-FILLED, 3-DAY Wedding WEEKEND at KIN HOUSE IN THE COTSWOLDS
Following their heartfelt civil ceremony at London's Somerset House a couple of weeks before, the second part of Dani and Alex's wedding took us to the Cotswolds for an epic 3-day wedding weekend at Kin House. Their vision? All of the elegance of a luxury wedding, but with the laid back, fun-filled vibe of a university house party!
Nestled in the heart of the Cotswolds, Kin House provided the perfect setting for their celebration. With beautifully designed onsite accommodation, their closest friends and family stayed together for the entire weekend, creating an intimate and immersive experience. The festivities began with a champagne reception, followed by a relaxed rehearsal dinner in the Hearth Room—a warm and inviting start to their weekend.
On the wedding day, bridal prep took place in Kin House’s iconic pink-hued dressing room. Meanwhile, we set the stage for a celebrant-led, outdoor ceremony under the arbour, adorned with vibrant, seasonal blooms in a palette that reflected the surrounding countryside.
Dani and Alex’s ceremony was filled with heartfelt moments, from their personal, hand-written vows to a charming appearance by their beloved dog. Afterwards, guests enjoyed cocktails, canapés, and lawn games in the Walled Gardens, accompanied by a roaming acoustic trio—perfect for a Cotswolds wedding with a relaxed, joyful vibe.
A delicious wedding breakfast and speeches in Kilvert Hall followed and, after a brief outfit change from the bride, the evening celebrations kicked off in style with an epic champagne tower. A live band and DJ kept the dance floor full until the early hours, ensuring the night ended on a high.
The weekend concluded on Sunday with a relaxed recovery brunch featuring grazing boards and a Bloody Mary bar. Guests soaked up the Cotswolds charm with a countryside walk and pub lunch before returning to Kin House for a cosy movie night. Complete with takeaway-style snacks, popcorn, and sweets, it was the perfect way to wind down and reflect on an unforgettable weekend.
