Olivia and Alex started working with me right at the start of their planning journey, when all that they had decided on was their incredible wedding venue, Euridge Manor. Originally contemplating a destination wedding, Euridge offered the European feel that they loved, whilst having the benefit of being local to their home in the south west. Furthermore, given that Liv is American, it offered the perfect English countryside experience for her friends and family who travelled over from the States for their three day celebration.
The weekend started with a rehearsal for their (30+ person strong!) wedding party, followed by an intimate lunch in the Euridge Manor Orangery, where Pickers Catering put on a rustic sharing feast of Italian-inspired dishes. Afterwards, they joined the rest of their guests at a local pub for drinks, to welcome them to the Cotswolds.
After a summer of unreliable weather, we woke on the morning of the wedding to glorious sunshine, and began setting up for their outdoor ceremony in the iconic Boat House. Fleur Provocateur transformed the space into a breathtaking, immersive floral wonderland, giving an undeniably intimate feel to the ceremony. Following an emotion-packed ceremony, guests were led up to the Rose Garden for cocktails and canapés, whilst their string orchestra played a medley of modern pieces. After a series of unforgettable speeches, our guests took their seats under the pergola for dinner, where we dressed rustic wooden tables with elegant, blush and gold tableware, sage green napkins, textured floral arrangements and an abundance of atmospheric candlelight. We then invited guests to the Orangery for cake, espresso martinis and a show-stopping champagne tower, before our DJ and saxophone duo encouraged everybody to the dance floor for the evening reception. Alex surprised his new bride by re-recording a heartfelt version of their first dance song (perhaps the best surprise I've EVER seen at a wedding!) and they celebrated with their guests into the early hours.
The following morning, guests returned to Euridge for a relaxed recovery brunch to debrief on the previous day. We set up lounge furniture and garden games on the lawn, and a pizza truck served wood-fired pizzas, before bringing this beautiful weekend of love, happiness and fun to a close.
