When Kiki & George were considering where to hold their wedding, they wanted a show-stopping venue that offered that 'wow' factor, whilst still being enough of a blank canvas that they could truly put their own stamp on it. Pennsylvania Castle is exactly that - a beautiful and historic estate with a modern, charming feel and unspoilt views of the Dorset coast. Kiki and George poured so much time into the finer details of their day, from their intricate, hand-finished stationery to their choreographed first dance, and their plans unfolded into the most wonderful weekend of celebrations for their loved ones.
Kiki & George's wedding weekend began with a black tie rehearsal dinner for their closest friends and family. The wedding day itself fell on a warm July day, and guests were greeted with flower-adorned elderflower cocktails and a cooling station with parasols, fans and chilled water, before taking their seats for their outdoor ceremony. Their ceremony - conducted by a mutual friend - was beautiful and heartfelt, including personalised vows and a carefully curated playlist of meaningful songs. Afterwards, everybody made their way to the terrace for champagne and canapés, where a pianist played whilst guests enjoyed the sea views. The Orangery was set up as a light and airy space for dining, where guests were served a delicious wedding breakfast, with multiple speeches interspersed, as a nod to the bride's Danish heritage. After dinner, the couple entertained their guests with a show-stopping first dance on the terrace, before the evening celebrations unfolded. The following morning, Kiki & George joined their wedding party for a Newlywed Breakfast in the Conservatory, before departing to begin their married life together.
