In the late summer of last year, my wonderful clients Liv & Ali held a 3 day wedding weekend at Cotswolds wedding venue, Euridge Manor. As Liv is American, this was a UK destination wedding for many of their guests. We honoured this by treating their guests to a quintessentially English wedding in the countryside, filled with personal touches and heartfelt details.
The weekend began with a rehearsal lunch for their wedding party in the Euridge Manor Orangery. Pickers Catering provided a sharing feast of delicious Italian dishes. It was the perfect opportunity for their closest loved ones to get to know one another and prepare for the big day. Later that evening, the wider guest list joined Liv and Ali at a Cotswolds pub, introducing everyone to the local area for casual drinks.
The following morning, after months of unpredictable weather, we awoke to beautiful sunshine. A relief after months of meticulous planning for an outdoor ceremony and reception! Our couple got ready separately, spending a relaxed morning with their respective wedding parties. Liv looked sensational in her House of Savin floral embroidered gown and Jimmy Choo shoes. Meanwhile, Ali and his groomsmen looked dapper in black tie – a nod to their ‘summer opera’ dress code.
For the wedding day styling, we drew inspiration from Euridge Manor itself. A country house wedding venue, Euridge has an undeniable grandeur, whilst still feeling rustic and relaxed. Florist Fleur Provocateur designed an abundant, immersive floral installation around the Boat House for the ceremony. This gave an intimate and romantic feel, whilst still being an incredible focal point.
After a heartfelt ceremony, conducted by the groom’s sister, guests made their way to the gardens for the drinks reception. Cocktails and canapés were served, meanwhile Vyne String Quartet played an orchestral, Bridgerton-inspired set. We dispersed the speeches throughout the drinks reception, before announcing guests to take their seats for the wedding breakfast. The pergola at Euridge made the ideal dining setting. Split across two tiers, guests were seated on two long rows of rustic wooden tables, dressed with tumbling low floral arrangements and colourful candles. As night started to fall, guests moved through to the Orangery for dessert, espresso martinis and a show-stopping champagne tower. Our DJ and saxophone duo then gathered everybody to the dance floor, where Ali surprised Liv with a re-recorded version of their first dance song (hands down, the BEST surprise I’ve ever seen at a wedding!) and they celebrated with their guests into the early hours.
The following morning, guests returned to Euridge for a recovery brunch. Fortunate enough to have another sunny day, we utilised the gardens once again, setting up lounge furniture on the lawns and garden games for guests to enjoy. A pizza van parked up on the lawn, serving incredible wood-fired pizzas. Liv, Ali and their guests had an opportunity to relax and debrief on the weekend, before the festivities drew to a close.
It was an honour and a joy to work with Liv and Ali on this beautiful and heartfelt celebration. Enjoy a small selection of images from their special day below.
